FACE NEW YORK

WEB DESIGN, BRANDING

FACE NEW YORK is an art project designed to bring visibility to people dealing with homelessness in New York City.  Each subject has had the opportunity to tell his story to the artist portraying him. The exhibition hopes to create a deeper, more nuanced understanding of a population that is often judged, overlooked, and passed by. The project is curated by Allie Wilkinson.

FACE NEW YORK has been featured in the Observer, Untapped Cities, and the New York Times.

Following the first exhibition from October 4th to November 19th 2015 at the Bowery Mission, the second  exhibition runs from January 12th to February 21st 2016 at the InterChurch Center in New York City.
